Docker, Inc

Jen collaborated with Docker to develop social media content to drive demand and awareness for the CRAFTED. podcast, amplifying across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Through thoughtful content curation and creative strategy, including copy and video clip selection, Jen helped grow Docker’s social presence while maintaining an authentic voice that resonates with the tech community.

Currently, Jen is the social lead for all organic Docker social for their technical and decision-maker audiences. Since her start, the priority social channel (LinkedIn) has seen a 6.9% increase in impressions, a 44% increase in reactions, a 93% increase in comments, and a 31% increase in reposts.

Developer Marketing Work Experience


Prior to consulting, Jen worked at Red Hat (10 years), Profian, and AppMap.

2012-2022

As the editorial and community manager for Opensource.com, Jen orchestrated the publishing of technical content from engineers working on RHEL and OpenShift at Red Hat to programmers from all over the world using programming languages (Python was a fav) of all kinds and technology of all kinds (Raspberry Pis and Linux were a fav) to help developers deliver at work and play at home.

2022-2023

As Head of Marketing for two seed-stage startups, Jen improved developer discovery and implementation of AppMap (a code review dev tool) and enabled sales and founder discussions of Profian Assure (zero trust security software). 

At AppMap, Jen drove content strategy and execution in partnership with Devl Rel staff, which led to a 13% MoM increase of stalled user downloads. Jen created customer success-facing documentation and collaborated on the team’s GitHub 2023 strategy.
